Unless you live under a rock most people will be aware, to various degrees, that feminism clashed with gaming last week with shameful results. For the unaware, there is a YouTube channel called Feminist Frequency that “critically explores the representation of women in pop culture narratives” (@femfreq, 2009). Part two of a piece titled Women As Background Decoration: Part 2 Tropes vs Women was posted to the YouTube channel on the 25th of August and was shared via the twitter page as well.
